The fall signing period quickly comes to
a close, and our #1 available prospect 6-8 Amile Jefferson of Friend’s
Central School (Wynnewood, PA) is still undecided. He is fresh off a
visit to Stanford and also still has schools like Maryland, Villanova,
Kentucky, N.C. State, Ohio State and Temple. As for our list itself,
there is no major change at the top, as 6-8 Kyle Anderson of St.
Anthony HS (Jersey City, NJ) once again is the top player on our Mid
Atlantic Hoops Top 150 seniors. Anderson lived up to expectations all
summer with New Jersey Playaz Basketball Club after leading his Friars
of St. Anthony to the undisputed national championship a year ago. He is
the least athleticism prospect in his class as evident of his nickname
“slow motion”, but he is a big time player that can not be define by
position or athleticism. Anderson is capable of putting up prolific
numbers and scoring anytime he wants, very savvy with great basketball
IQ. Our #2 and #3 ranked players are 6-9/C Dajuan Coleman
Jamesville Dewitt HS (DeWitt, NY) and 6-8/F Amile Jefferson of
Friend’s Central School (Wynnewood, PA) also have not changed. However,
after that it’s some shake-up as 6-4/G D’Vante Smith-Rivera of
Oak Hill Academy (Mouth Of Wilson, VA) a native of Indiana has moved
into the area and check in as our #4 prospect, 6-8/F Jeremi Grant
of DeMatha Catholic (Hyattsville, MD) has moved up from #7 to #5, 6-6
Justin Anderson of Montrose Christian (Rockville, MD) is on the list at
#6, 6-3/G Ryan Arcidiacono of Neshaminy HS (Langhorne, PA)
checked in at #7, 6-4/G Omar Calhoun of Christ the King (Middle
Village, NY) has moved up from #10 to #8, 6-10/C Daniel Ochefu of
Westtown School (Westtown, PA) has dropped from #4 to #9, and 6-5/G
Arnaud Adala-Moto of Episcopal School (Alexandria, VA) has moved up
from #12 to #10. That concludes our highlight of our updated Class of
2012 top prospects.
Daquien McNeil, a 6-foot-3 combo guard from
Vermont Academy in Saxtons River, VT, is a big-time scorer and one of the elite prospects in the country from class of 2013. A native of Baltimore, he is reminiscent of a typical Baltimore guard with toughness and hardnosed in terms of his appearance and his game...

There were a couple constants throughout
Josh Selby’s summer vacation. First, without
fail, the Lake Clifton senior would dominate
every AAU tournament he played in. Second,
the 6-foot-3, 180-pound point guard would
have one of the most boisterously vocal
cheering sections in nearly every gym he
traveled through...Story
