Kristopher Joseph Archbishop Carroll High School in Washington, DC
ranks as one of the top prospects in Mid Atlantic Hoops area
Class of 2008 rankings. Follow along as Kris gives us an
inside look at his season and his life both on and off of the
basketball court.
The regular season is over and now my main focus is the
post season and getting these three wins to win the WCAC
championship. During the regular season I came out real hot
and was putting up 20+ points a night. After the break my
point production lowered. However I was still a big part of us
winning games being a playmaker, making the right plays at the
right times.. | Message

The
regular season is over and now my main focus is the post season and
getting these
three wins to win the WCAC championship. During the regular season I
came out real hot
and was putting up 20+ points a night. After the break my point
production lowered.
However I was still a big part of us winning games being a
playmaker, making the right
plays at the right times.
This season there was a lot of weight taken off my shoulders due to
Rodney McGruders
excellent play throughout the whole season and my fellow Montrealer
Aleks Mitrovic. I
scored all my points in a lot of different ways this season,
shooting from the outside,
off the dribble, and on the block, making it a little more difficult
for defenders to
check me. This year I am having much more fun the last year, and
that's simply because we
are winning! I am glad that I came to play in the WCAC because I
feel that this tough
competition will really prepare me for the next level.
The strong point of my game I believe is still my passing ability,
but I bring much more
to the table though, I can score and rebound. My weakness right now
is definitely my one
on one defense, but as soon as the season is over I will be hooking
up with my trainer
and we are going to focus a lot on getting my feet quicker and
faster.
Just recently I got an invitation to the Baltimore Vs USA all star
game. I can't remember
exactly when it will be played but none the less I was honored and
accepted to play in
the game. We play Good Counsel in the first round of our WCAC
playoffs and it should be a
real tough game but I am confident that if we play our game we will
come out victorious.
I have a lot of people to thank for my current success as a
basketball player and as a
young adult. First of all, my family they have been so supportive of
me in every move
I've made since moving to
Washington
,
DC
. My mother has shaped me
into a good young man,
she always keeps me level headed making sure I never think I am
better than anyone because
of what I am doing. My brother Maurice who pushed me from day one to
always do better and
never give up, he always tells me to never let anybody tell me what
I can or cannot do.
My sisters, well... they act like all sisters do, always stating the
obvious like "watch
out for the fast girls “haha" I Love My Family though. They
are really supportive..
Next year I will be going t
Syracuse
University
, and I am really looking
forward to being
there. I went up there for the Midnight Madness and it was wild. I
mean I was signing as
much autographs as the people on the team. The fans are crazy! I
really can't wait to
play at the dome. So look for me next year in the
Orange
and White.
I'd like to give a few shout outs to my mans Rodney McGruder, Aleks
Mitrovic, Dave
Thompson, Ahmad George and the rest of the Carroll Mob. To my Girl
Back Home Tynesha White.
My Family, Eartha (mother),Kizzy,Marisa,MoJo,Kanika,Jayden,Elijah,Winston,Sheldon,Niko,Jiggy...The
whole 160 district. Skip, Lights, Randy, Sacha.
Thank all of yall~514~
