Amile Jefferson, a 6-foot-8 sophomore wing
forward from Friends Central High School located in Wynnewood, Pennsylvania,
is a terrific young prospect with a very high upside. A very skilled combo
forward, Jefferson has an excellent approach to the game. He has
consistently improved every year and his conditioning is evident of his
dedication to the game. With continued development, he projects as a major
elite player by the end of his junior year.
We spoke with
Amile’s father, and asked him about Amile and his recruiting.
"Wake Forest,
West Virginia, Virginia Tech, temple, Villanova, St. Joseph’s (PA), Penn
State and Georgetown have been the main schools that have shown the most
interests," said Musgrove.
I asked
Musgrove if there are any programs that have offered this young prospect.
"Wake Forest, West Virginia, Virginia Tech,
temple and St. Joe’s all offered," said Ashley. "There is nothing solid yet
from Villanova and Georgetown."
When asked
about the factors that may influence his son choice, Musgrove replied, "My
main focus for him is a school with strong academic standards that isn’t too
far with the opportunity for him to play early and win”.
Jefferson has
yet to go on any unofficial visits.
Musgrove
said his son has a 3.2 GPA
