Super Showcase at the HOOP MAGIC SPORTS ACADEMY in Chantilly,
VA were 6-foot-9 220 junior power forward/center Erique
Gumbs from Caravel Academy in Bear DE , 6-foot-8
junior wing forward Isaiah Philmore from
John Carroll School, Bel Air MD, and most of the Delaware
Sharpshooters players after they defeated the Squash All Beefs
Team in the first round of the 17U tournament on Sunday.

Triple Threat Spring Super Showcase day at the HOOP MAGIC SPORTS
ACADEMY in Chantilly, VA were 6-foot-9 220 Erique Gumbs from
Caravel Academy in Bear DE, 6-foot8 210 wing forward Isaiah Philmore
from John Carroll School, Bel Air MD, and most of the Delaware
Sharpshooters players after they defeated the Squash All Beefs Team
in the first round of the 17U tournament.
Gumbs told us that he like

, George Washington, and
Notre Dame. A good student with a 3.0 GPA, and that he scored
1100 on PSAT. And that Delaware and George Washington already
offered.
He
also mentioned that he will be attending the Reebok U Camp this
summer and should make decision on college by fall. Gumbs led his
Caravel Academy (Bear, DE) team to a 22-4 record this past season
and was named Mid Atlantic Hoops.Com & The magazine Delaware
Player of the Year among many honors.
“Location, competition level and my relationship with the
coaches will be a deciding factor in picking college” said Gumbs.
